Silence surrounded me as I stared blankly at my computer screen.
My workplace was painfully quiet this particular Friday morning, allowing suppressed feelings of insignificance to resurface at a deafening decibel. It had been a long season of days like these — feeling extra ordinary, questioning God’s activity in the place He had me.
I whispered my daily doubt-filled prayer,
“God, are You sure You can use me here?”
Sometimes it’s easy to look at our “ordinary” lives and question how God could possibly use us while we’re swamped with paperwork, dealing with cranky people, raising tiny humans or caught up in other miniscule tasks of life.
Do you find yourself believing the same lie–that your life is too ordinary for God to use you?
Today I’m over at Proverbs 31 Ministries’ Encouragement for Today offering a little bit of hope to those of us who feel “lost” in those ordinary seasons of life. Thankfully, we serve a God who uses everything. Head on over to Proverbs 31 to continue reading about how this seemingly ordinary day turned into an extraordinary lesson.
